Star Cinema’s OFW drama “Hello, Love, Goodbye” made its debut in Cambodian cinemas on Sunday, with lead stars Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards flying to the Southeast Asian nation for the premiere.
Star Cinema executive Mico del Rosario posted on Instagram a photo of Bernardo and Richards during the film’s premiere at a mall in Cambodia.
The pair’s fans flocked to the venue for the premiere as well as a press conference, as shown in a live video on ABS-CBN Film Productions’ Facebook page.
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and written by Carmi Raymundo, “Hello, Love, Goodbye” follows the love story of Joy (Bernardo), a domestic helper, and Ethan (Richards), a bartender, as they grapple with the challenges faced by Filipino migrant workers in Hong Kong.
The movie premiered in the Philippines last July 31 and has since earned over P800 million.
The film will also be screened in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan and South Korea.
