Profiles Asia Magazine tendered a dinner for the Princess of Bahrain, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, at the grand and beautiful Forbes Park home of Fining Tambunting.
The party for the princess was held in her sprawling garden where white tents were set up backdropped by lush greeneries, well lighted tall trees and waterfalls cascading to the large round swimming pool.
Around 70 society figures, diplomats and business executives came to meet, greet and exchange pleasantries with the Princess. During dinner, a violinist serenaded the princess and guests while a soprano from the US, Diane Madewell sang 'Nesum Dorma,' Puccini's aria, from the opera “Turandot.”
Japanese food with a table full of cakes and pastries brought by guests were served by Chef Noel Hizon. Wine and spirits overflowed sponsored by Moe.
The party ended with the princess expressing her gratitude for the hospitality accorded to her n in reciprocity invited everyone to visit her in Bahrain.

Meanwhile, it was a fabulous party from start to finish for Manny Negado. Guests feasted on a sumptuous buffer which consisted of roast beef, seafood pasta, grilled prawns, chicken lollipop, two lechon several varieties of desserts, overflowing juices, wines and spirits.
Many took the stage to sing for Manny. There was Darius Razon, Kathy Hipolito-Mas, Mike Austria, Fin Ramirez, Chris Wycoco, Emmy Cragun, and George Sarakinis who were all in their best element, receiving resounding applause from their audience.
Not to be outdone was a dance exhibition of Argentinean tango by Rosebud Ong and Jeff Pelayo, the pair passionately moving to the rhythm of a song rendition by Atty. Salvador Panelo.
It truly was a night of fun and music. The band kept everybody dancing non-stop to the beat till way past midnight.
