Barry Avrich celebrates his new documentary at Toronto’s Ritz-Carlton

Canadian theatre royalty and theatre lovers came together to celebrate Hot Docs’ world premiere of Barry Avrich’s new film, “This Above All: The Theatrical Life of Antoni Cimolino.” The pre-screening cocktails held at the Ritz-Carlton featured the film’s subject, outgoing Stratford Festival artistic director Antoni Cimolino, as well as producer-director Avrich, Mark Selby, Colm Feore, Thom Allison, Julia and Robert Foster, Shelley and David Peterson, Sandra and Jim Pitblado and Richard Rooney and Laura Dinner. The film will begin screening on CBC Gem Sept. 18.
