The glamorous philanthropic evening Bloor Street Entertains returned to Yorkville on Nov. 21 for its 29th edition. The gala, co-chaired by Dr. Trevor Born, Melissa Campisi and David Simmonds, raised more than $1.5 million to support CANFAR at a time when new HIV cases in Canada are the highest they’ve been in over a decade. The funds will help CANFAR expand access to HIV self-test kits and community-based testing where it’s needed most.
