Gilas Pilipinas naturalized player Justin Brownlee suffered a cut on his upper lip during the national squad's' Friday practice at the Meralco gym.

The 6-foot-4 Brownlee shared a photo his busted lip in an Instagram story he posted shortly after practice.
An inadvertent elbow during the team's scrimmage caused the 34-year-old resident Ginebra import to sustain the cut from his lip.
Brownlee will be making his Southeast Asian Games debut as Gilas' naturalized player when the Philippines takes on Malaysia on May 9 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
A lot is expected from the do-it-all Brownlee considering that several key players from the national pool won't be around for various reasons.
