MANILA, Philippines — With an eye at a better, brighter future, the Philippine National Volleyball Federation has given its final nod to Tai Bundit to coach the Alas Pilipinas women’s team.
“Coach Tai was appointed last night (Thursday) as the head coach of the women’s Alas team by the PNVF executive board,” said PNVF chief Tonyboy Liao.
The Thai bench strategist, who has secured the blessings from his Rebisco boss Jonathan Ng days before, will take over from Brazilian Jorge Souza de Brito, who coached Alas women to fourth place in the last SEA Games.
“Definitely, he will be a very good replacement because of his winning ways and experience,” added Liao.
