A driver was shot dead in Barangay Mungo, Tuao, Cagayan on Thursday, July 4.
Police Major Jun Jun Balisi, Tuao police chief, identified the victim as Dindo, 38, a resident of Barangay Divisoria, Santiago City, Isabela.
Balisi said the victim was counting money in front of the house of his employer, a businessmen, when a man onboard a motorcycle appeared and shot him in the head with a handgun.
The suspect fled and police took the victim to the hospital where he was declared dead.
Balisi said follow-up investigation is underway. Police have identified a person of interest in the incident.
