It was Cabalen’s response to government’s call to make food available to citizens, and to support frontliners who continue to save lives at checkpoints, malls, health centers, hospitals banks and convenience stores.
The 34-year-old restaurant founded in Quezon City went back to accepting dine-in customers in June. And before the year ends, two additional branches have been opened in Luzon.
The only branch in Bulacan located in Vista Mall Malolos opened on 17 December and the biggest branch in Metro Manila located at Fishermall opened on 18 December.
In attendance were former mayor Benhur Abalos, QC BPLO head Margie Santos, Malabon Vice Mayor Bernard Dela Cruz, QC Legal Officer Atty. Niño Casimiro and reigning Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas and Miss Cabalen Maria Katrina Llegado.

“The goal is to make Cabalen Fishermall be the first choice for family celebrations, where families can enjoy their time in a safe environment with enough air circulation and big room for social distancing with other customers.
All food served is freshly cooked to satisfy the palate of every customer,” Amazing Best Foods Corporation president Rheybie Nipas said.
As Covid-19 continues to strain the economy, the Cabalen Group of Companies wants to assure the public that it has taken every possible measure to ensure that the food and dining environment in all branches are clean and safe.
“We have heightened our cleaning protocols by implementing consistent disinfection of high-touch surfaces, strictly imposed the practice of good hygiene with emphasis on frequent handwashing and sanitizing and enforced social distancing by encouraging our customers to maintain at least an arm’s length distance from one another,” Cabalen president and CEO Maritel Nievera said.
At the Fishermall launching, the best of Pampanga’s culinary treasures was unveiled. The limited-edition book, The Cabalen Kitchen, is now available in selected branches: Ayala Malls by the Bay, SM Mall of Asia, Robinson’s Place Manila and Glorietta 2.
