Caloocan Rep. Erice, staff contract COVID-19

Caloocan City Rep. Egay Erice has tested positive for coronavirus disease.

In a Facebook post, Erice announced that he contracted the virus eight days after he isolated himself. He said he exhibited mild symptoms.

“After eight days in quarantine, I have tested positive for Covid,” his post reads.

Erice said his office will be temporarily closed as some of his staff have also contracted the disease.

“We will have to temporarily close our district office due to the numerous cases among my staff. I have very mild symptoms so nothing to worry,” he said.

Although on medication, the congressman said he is still open to help his constituents.

“God’s grace shall bear us out of this pandemic. You can still message me though if you think I can do something for you my beloved constituents,” Erice said.
