As we step into our fifth year as a food village, it’s incredible to reflect on the journey we’ve witnessed—small businesses taking their first steps, growing steadily, and becoming something beyond their wildest dreams. Watching that happen within our community has been nothing short of a blessing. Because at the heart of it all, the goal isn’t just to build a business; it’s to leave a legacy, create impact, and uplift those around us.
On February 19, a handful of passionate business owners came together for an evening of friendship, learning, and connection over dinner at Tinuno Restaurant. More than just a gathering, it was a space where we could pause from the daily grind, truly engage with one another, and be reminded that we’re not on this journey alone.
Throughout the night, we shared thoughts on self-care as business owners, the importance of celebrating wins—big or small, and recognizing our value in a world that often demands more than we can give.
Conversations like these remind us that success isn’t just about hustle; it’s also about knowing when to pause and honor how far we’ve come.
And, of course, we couldn’t end the night without a little fun! Our Speed Networking session was easily the highlight of the evening. In just a short span of time, we met and connected with 20 fellow entrepreneurs, each with their own stories, experiences, and aspirations. That’s 20 new opportunities for collaboration, support, and growth!
These moments—where we come together, share, learn, and lift each other up—are what truly make Kain Tayo special. We can’t wait to do it again.
Join us for our next gathering on March 22 at Agape Garden in Stoney Creek! This time, we’re celebrating Women’s Month—an evening dedicated to honoring and uplifting women in business.
Whether you’re a woman entrepreneur or an ally, we’d love to have you there! See you soon!
