OpenAI launched ChatGPT Go, Thursday, October 9, a new low-cost subscription plan that expands access to its most popular AI features — including GPT-5 — at a more affordable price of P300. Prior to the new plan, the cheapest paid ChatGPT subscription was P1,100 a month for the Plus tier.
The plan, now rolling out across parts of Asia including the Philippines, offers extended use of GPT-5, image generation, file uploads, and advanced data analysis tools, and includes all that is available in the free tier. It also includes longer memory for more personalized responses and access to projects and custom GPTs.

ChatGPT Go is positioned as a middle tier between the Free and Plus plans, giving users more access without the higher cost of premium subscriptions. However, it excludes access to older “legacy” models such as GPT-4o, and access to video generator Sora, included in the Plus tier.
OpenAI says the rollout will gradually expand to more countries, with local currency pricing available in select markets. – Rappler.com
