Maayong Pasko og Mabungahong Bag-ong Tuig!
I hope you’re all ready to face 2021 just as I am, especially after such a challenging and unusual 2020. What better way to welcome the New Year than with a fizzy and refreshing drink to share with family and friends.
Here’s a punch I always serve to guests during past New Year’s Eve parties we host at home while waiting for the big countdown and for the festive first meal.
During those moments, we like to remember the year that was and, no matter what challenges we faced, appreciate all the blessings we received. I think this year is the same, even if there is a pandemic, the company and love we received from our family and old and new friends are precious.
I also like to add some petit fours — bite-sized sweet and savory appetizers — to accompany the drink.
Cheers! Let’s all look forward to a brighter and more joyful New Year!
