Clarks, the renowned footwear brand from Somerset, England, has remained a go-to choice for consumers seeking comfortable and stylish leather footwear that evolves with the times.
The brand continues to innovate and create signature looks that appeal to modern generations. Just this month, Clarks Philippines opened a new concept store at Shangri-La Plaza Mall, in addition to its existing branches and online selling platforms.
The new 63.92 sqm store features the brand's signature design, with white walls and wooden floating shelves that offer a seamless viewing experience of the display.
The store will exclusively carry a handpicked selection of the Spring-Summer 2023 collection and Clarks Originals for a limited time. The Originals collection, which includes iconic designs like the Desert Boot, Wallabees, and Desert Treks, has an instantly recognizable signature that makes it unmistakably Clarks.
The Desert Boot, first designed by Nathan Clark and launched in 1950, sparked a worldwide footwear revolution with its minimal, progressive style. Every design detail remains true to that first pioneering pair, still using the stitched-down technique that creates a waterproof casual shoe.
The Originals collection continues with the heritage-inspired Tor Run sports shoe, designed with a unique comfort shape, super-deconstructed suede uppers, and matching FSC-certified rubber crepe soles.
There is also the Clarks Wallabee, a chunky charm that has stood the test of time and is now offered with updated colors and patterns. The Spring-Summer 2023 collection fuses contemporary aesthetics with the label's signature look and feel.
The Torhill, in partnership with rising Philadelphia-based actor Jabari Banks, showcases a streamlined, lace-up design that models its curves and contours on the iconic Wallabee.
The dual-gender Torhill Hi will debut exclusively on TikTok, creating an inclusive digital-first experience.
The Clarks Jacquard Collection meanwhile offers a retro vibe with its colorful summer-ready colors. The range boasts perfect proportions in its streamlined textile jacquard upper and chunky natural crepe sole. It is defined by a modern-retro aesthetic with exposed stitching, a butter-soft suede collar, and Clarks Originals logo fobs.
Clarks has also teamed up with American designer and founder of Kith, Ronnie Fieg, to create the 8th Street Collection, which embraces the energy of New York City's 1990s shoe scene.
The Lockhill, named after one of Clarks' very first factories, is crafted from top-grade perforated suede in a new ink colorway.
Lastly, Clarks offers summer mules, a reimagined version of the beloved desert trek silhouette for those seeking eco-friendly options in a handful of new updates and variations. The brand's heritage trek mule takes on fresh, neutral colorways in premium suede.
