Coron resort donates classroom chairs to elementary schools

MANILA, Philippines — Discovery Coron celebrated the yuletide season with its Cheers for Chairs initiative, the resort's corporate social responsibility program that donates classroom chairs to elementary schools in the resort's neighboring barangays.

The project featured the touching journey of Clide, a seven-year-old beneficiary whose simple wish was to study more comfortably in class.

His story was shared through a heartwarming video, and to everyone's surprise, Clide appeared at the event as the special guest.

The event came to a close with a special performance from a local choir, filling the air with familiar carols and a sense of shared hope.
