Eagles advance in SSL Collegiate

MANILA, Philippines — Ateneo took flight to the next phase after a 25-12, 25-21, 25-12 win over Emilio Aguinaldo College to end the 2024 Shakey’s Super League Collegiate Pre-Season Championship elimination round in style yesterday at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

Jennifer de los Santos fired 10 points while Jihan Chuatico and Alexia Montoro chipped in seven each as the Blue Eagles (3-1) won two wins in a row to clip the last playoff spot in Pool A topped by unbeaten National U (3-0).

Ateneo, as the second-seed in the group, will join Far Eastern U, Santo Tomas and a still-to-be-determined No. 2 seed in Pool C in the next round.
