To expand its regional presence, Eastern Communications forged partnerships with local Community Antenna Television (CATV), Internet Service Providers (ISP), Mendez Cable TV Inc. and Clare Cable TeleVision (TV), the telecom firm announced Tuesday, September 13.
“Cavite and Batangas are identified as key areas for Eastern, and with these partnerships, we hope to see its residents and local businesses flourish,” says VP and Head of Sales Michael Castañeda.
Eastern Communications is providing Internet Direct Service (IDS) to residential and commercial customers of Mendez Cable TV in 24 barangays of Mendez and 36 barangays of Indang in Cavite.
IDS is a country-centric, dedicated, high-speed Internet service that offers lower latency and better quality of service to customers who require very particular connectivity requirements.
Mendez Cable TV has been servicing Cavite for over eighteen years.

In Batangas, Eastern Communications partnered Clare Cable TeleVision to provide IDS to its over 2,000 customers in Taal, San Luis, and Sta. Teresita.
Clare Cable is expanding its services and currently provides internet to public Wi-Fi government sites.
The company is also into community event video coverage, community local programming, entertainment news and information.
