Former One Direction member Liam Payne dies

Liam Payne, former member of the British boy band One Direction and later a solo artist, has died, CNN reported. He was 31.

According to police, Payne died after falling from a third-floor hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Further details surrounding the incident are under investigation.

Payne rose to fame as part of One Direction, one of the best-selling boy bands of all time, before launching a solo career following the group’s hiatus.
