As the previous year came to a close, Frenzy organizer Joanne Matschuck celebrated her birthday by hosting an intimate dinner at hacienda style Ayala Alabang residence for a small group of her closest friends.

Present where her co-Frenzy organizers, my favorite couple Sonny Tanchanco and John Gaddi, Joy Fong, Gerard Ramirez and your Hi Society columnist.

For starters, liver pate and Kani salad prepared by Joanne 's loving husband Gunther were served to welcome the guests. The sumptuous menu included Osso Buco with Spaghettini Aglio Oglio, Roast Pork Belly, Vietnamese Crispy Chicken, Saffron Fish Fillet, Tacos. Pork cooked in Coconut milk and Shrimp Paste, Baked Salmon with Corn, Carrots and green peas on the side.

Joining the festivities are Joanne 's Team Tikim group led by Jorge and Frieda Hizo, AL and Choy Bernardo, Anne Directo with Boracay based Nini Pinlac. It was indeed good times with good friends!

Meanwhile, Evelyn Elliott also celebrated her 71st birthday at her favorite venue, the Santan Room of the Edsa Shangri-la Hotel.

Joining her are her close friends from her Zonta Club of Manila led by past Zonta International Area Director Dandy Gomez and Julie Choy, current Club Bulakeño (CB) Presidents Baby Tan and Peter Bautista, CB past president Virma Vergel De Dios and Evelyn 's Gold Hearts Family led by Red Cross Governor Baby Ortiz, Lory Cua, Ayna Ong and Erlin Ocampo.

The highlight of the evening is the top-notch entertainment provided by Asia's Queen of Song Pilita Corrales, ballads Darius Razon, soprano Kathy Hipolito Mas, Elvis impersonator Mike Austria, Emmy Gonzalez and of course Asia's diva Dulce!
