Former senator Richard Gordon was re-elected unanimously as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Philippine Red Cross, during the recently concluded 34th Biennial Convention of the Philippine Red Cross.

Gordon has led the dramatic transformation and modernization of the PRC since he assumed the position of chairman in 2004.

From primarily servicing the country’s blood requirements, the PRC is today the leading humanitarian organization involved in disaster response, relief, safety services, health services, shelter, water and sanitation, and welfare service.

Along with Gordon, the board elected Carissa O. Coscolluela as vice chairperson, Rodolfo O. Reyes as board secretary, and George G. Lorenzana as Treasurer.
