As part of his ”Iceman” album release, Drake built an ice sculpture in downtown Toronto, turned the CN Tower blue and staged an explosion near Downsview Park.

He also surprised fans by releasing not just one, but three albums at midnight Friday. In addition to “Iceman,” Drake also dropped “Habibti” and “Maid of Honour.”

Now one Canadian company is stepping up another surprise — in the music video for “Slap the City,” from the album “Habibti,” Drake wears a fur coat sporting various Canadian company logos, including Canadian Tire, RBC and Sleep Country Canada.

John Myhal, brand marketing director for Sleep Country Canada, said their team found out about their inclusion on Drake’s coat “along with everyone else when the video dropped.”

“The team’s reaction was a mix of, ‘Wait, is that us?’ followed quickly by excitement, laughter and a lot of pride,” Myhal told the Star.

“It’s not every day you get a shout-out alongside some of Canada’s most iconic brands from Toronto’s very own.”

The ”Slap the City” music video has amassed more than a million views since its release on Friday.

To celebrate the recognition, Canada’s self-described “top mattress and bedding company” is giving away free mattresses in Toronto — on one important condition.

The first 25 people who show up at the 8 King Street East location on Tuesday starting at 10 a.m. will get a free queen-size Casper Snow mattress. The catch? They must be wearing a fur coat. (The company stressed that “faux is strongly encouraged.”)

Once the mattresses are gone, anyone who arrives in Drake-Slap-the-City-style will be given “exclusive, heavy discounts while supplies last,” the company said.

Spotify announced that on May 15, Drake became the streaming platform’s most-streamed artist of 2026 in a single day and his album became the most-streamed of 2026 in a single day.
