HONOR launches AI updates

We’re seeing a lot of news about how AI is shaping the future of taking pictures with smartphones.

Now you can try them out much sooner as HONOR has launched an update for their HONOR 200 series.

This update includes the AI Eraser.

To put it simply, the AI Eraser will erase all the photo-bombers in the background. So, you’re free to go to the beach and take as much pictures as you want, and then erase all those people ruining the vibes of your shot.

For instance, here’s a picture of a lovely couple I took.

Would have been nice but these two in front me are too busy taking their own perfect shots. So I just snapped the photo, and did the AI Eraser thing.

Nice.

One thing to consider though is that you will need your WiFi enabled. You can keep using the AI Eraser on the same images multiple times, so there’s no urgency to get everything right on the first go.

Other AI features include group picture enhancements of up to 50 people. Live translation also comes with the update that can translate. HONOR hadn’t mentioned how many languages it can translate, but we can safely assume the usual tourist spots are covered.

The HONOR 200 series is available in your usual places. The HONOR 200 is price at P24,999 while the HONOR 200 Pro is P29,999.
