PHNOM PENH, Cambodia: John Ivan Cruz ruled the men's floor exercise final to win the Philippines' first gold medal of the day on Tuesday, May 9 in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games at the Marquee Tent of the National Olympic Stadium here.

The 20-year-old topped the seven-man field with a score of 13.850 points.
Cruz's gold medal is the 20th gold overall of the Philippines in the Phnom Penh Games.
