Malaysian rappers Joe Flizzo and K-Clique’s MK have released a new track in collaboration with Korean-American rapper Jay Park.
Titled “Ciao,” the song uses conversational language and slang often heard on the streets.
In an article from worldofbuzz.com, Joe said that producing the song was a breeze though it was done entirely amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
He added, “At that time, we were each far away as MK was in Kota Kinabalu and Jay Park was abroad. However, it was completed within a few days after they sent their respective recordings.”
“Ciao” is produced by Singaporean hip-hop artist ALYPH and French-Malaysian singer-songwriter SonaOne.
Jay Park, born Park Jae-bum, became a full member of the Korean Music Copyright Association (KMCA). In 2013, he founded the South Korean hip-hop and R&B record label AOMG. The label houses K-Pop’s biggest artists such as Loco, Lee Hi and Simon Dominic.
