
MANILA, Philippines – Heads up, K-drama fans! OST Symphony II: K-Drama in Concert returns to the stage for its second year on Saturday, October 25.
The concert will have two showtimes: 2 pm and 6:30 pm, at Samsung Hall of SM Aura in Taguig City.
Performances will be led by the country’s premier orchestra Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra with maestro Herminigildo Ranera as the conductor.
Fans can expect to hear live renditions of soundtracks from some of the most popular kilig-worthy K-dramas, including Crash Landing on You (2019-2020), Lovely Runner (2024), and When Life Gives You Tangerines (2025). Songs from the local adaptation of My Love from The Star(2017) will also be included.
And if you’re feeling golden, you can also look forward to their version of K-pop songs from Netflix’s hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters(2025).
Korean singer-songwriter Hong Isaac, rising artist YEGNY, and GMA talents Kyline Alcantara and Angel Guardian are expected to join as guest performers.
Korean Cultural Center (KCC) Philippines announced that admission is free, with tickets available at SM Tickets.
Apart from the concert, KCC and GMA Entertainment will also have a creative exchange with Korea’s music and show producers for a one-day K-OST and K-Show Production Workshop.
OST Symphony: K-Drama in Concert had its debut last year in June 2024 at Metropolitan Theatre in Manila, which previously featured songs from Goblin (2016), The World of the Married (2020), and Moonlight Drawn by Clouds(2016). – Alessandria Corral/Rappler.com
