Earlier this week, Kendrick Lamar’s new album “GNX” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart, his fourth consecutive studio album to do so.

To celebrate, the Los Angeles rapper has announced a North American stadium tour alongside singer SZA, which includes a stop at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on June 12.

Presale for the event takes place Wednesday with the general public sale set for Friday at 10 a.m.

This will mark the first time Lamar has performed in Toronto since his high-profile feud with Drake erupted last spring. It will also be his first time performing at a stadium in the city.

“GNX,” which was surprise released in late November, features SZA on several songs. The two artists were formerly labelmates on Top Dawg Entertainment.

Lamar, 37, has experienced massive success since his debut album “good kid, m.A.A.d city” in 2012. Since then, he’s accumulated 17 Grammy wins and became the first non-classical, non-jazz musician to win a Pulitzer Prize for his 2017 album “DAMN.”

Earlier this year, Lamar scored another hit with “Not Like Us,” a track emanating from his feud with Drake. The song, a brutal diss against the Toronto rapper, went No. 1 on the charts and became one of the biggest hip-hop songs of the year. The song’s success effectively ended the feud, with most observers declaring Lamar as the obvious victor.
