“Kita kits, CAVITE (See you, Cavite)!!!!!,” Robredo said in a Facebook post, accompanied by Aquino’s and Pangilinan’s campaign poster.

Aquino, likewise, invited his supporters to attend the proclamation rally, boasting of several guests that included the likes of Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Pangilinan’s wife.

“Makakasama natin sa unang araw ng kampanya (Feb 11) ang Parokya ni Edgar, Ms. Sharon Cuneta, Robi Domingo, Alex Calleja at marami pang iba (On the first day of the campaign [Feb 11], we will be with Parokya ni Edgar, Ms. Sharon Cuneta, Robi Domingo, Alex Calleja, and many others)!,” he wrote.

The former senator added that aside from Robredo, Senator Risa Hontiveros will also attend the campaign rally.

“Kitakits (See you)!,” he said.

Pangilinan also encouraged their supporters to be one with them again in the “People’s Campaign,” a term used to described Robredo’s presidential campaign run in 2022.

“Sama-sama nating gisingin ang natutulog pang lakas sa People’s Campaign Launch for Kiko-Bam (Together, let us awaken our strength for the People’s Campaign Launch for Kiko-Bam)!,” he said.

“Sama-sama tayong kumilos para sa mas mababang presyo, tapat at totoong pamamahala, at mas maunlad na Pilipinas (Let us all work for lower prices, honest and true governance, and a progressive Philippines)!,” the former senator wrote.

The event will be at the Dasmariñas Arena on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 4 p.m. Domingo and Calleja will host the event, while Nica del Rosario, Bayang Barrios, Pinky Amador, and others are expected to perform aside from Cuneta and Parokya ni Edgar.

Before the campaign rally, volunteers of the two senatorial candidates will hold a Mass at 8:30 a.m. at the Parish of the Holy Sacrifice in UP Diliman, Quezon City.

In 2022, Pangilinan ran as Robredo’s vice president, while Aquino stepped back from his senatorial aspiration to be Robredo’s campaign manager.

Cavite was one of Robredo’s major stops in the 2022 campaign trail, holding two rallies—one in General Trias and another in Dasmariñas—that drew more than 50,000 supporters.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) said that Region 4A (Calabarzon) has more than 9,761,170 million voters, making it the country’s top vote-rich region.

Cavite, in particular, has the highest number of voters in the region—2,460,981 registered voters across 16 municipalities and seven cities, covering eight congressional districts.
