Korea visa processing fee for Filipinos up to P1,000 this August

MANILA, Philippines — The Korea Visa Application Center (KVAC) is putting a P100 peso bump on the Visa Processing Fee for Filipino applicants later this month.

The current fee is P900; however, effective Aug. 25, 2026, the new fee will be P1,000 as announced in a public notice and on social media.

The adjustment applies to all visa applications submitted to the KVAC on or after the given date. The center is asking applicants to note the change when applying for visas.

Based on the most recent visa requirements issued by the KVAC last July 28 for Short-Term Tourist Visits (C-3-9), a single-entry visa is valid for three months from the date of issue.

Visas for Filipinos staying less than 60 days will have no charge, while visas that stay between 60 and 90 days will cost another P2,000 on top of the processing fee.

All visa applications must be submitted to the KVAC at 9F Brittany Hotel, 6 McKinley Parkway, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Requirements for applicants vary depending on individual circumstances; the latest list can be viewed here.
