MANILA, Philippines – Call of Duty: Mobile is turning the Philippines into a battleground this summer as it stages the Summer Festival 2026, a season-long campaign that will culminate in a two-day offline event from May 23-24 at the SMX Aura Convention Center in Taguig City.
Bannered by the theme “Connect, Compete, Celebrate”, the festival puts top-tier esports front and center with the Grand Finals of Garena Elite Philippines (GEP) 2026 and the Garena Summer Invitational (GSI) 2026 set to be played live in Manila.
The GEP 2026, the first live local LAN event in the country, will feature both Multiplayer (MP) and Battle Royale (BR) formats. The tournament carries a $40,000 prize pool and is designed to surface the Philippines’ best CODM talent, culminating in a live grand final on May 23 where national champions will be crowned in front of a home crowd.
On the other hand, the GSI 2026 on May 24 is a regional showcase that will feature 14 teams from the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, competing for the $60,000 prize pool. The GSI 2026 is Garena’s first regional Call of Duty: Mobile tournament hosted offline in the Philippines, giving fans a rare chance to watch cross-border, high-pressure matches live.
The Summer Festival 2026 is open to the public, with Garena lining up creator showmatches, interactive booths and on-site giveaways, plus exclusive Summer Festival merchandise for fans who want to take a piece of the weekend home.
In the lead-up to the main event, players can also expect “Hotspot Attacks”, a series of on-ground activations slated to roll out in the weeks prior to the grand finals weekend, aimed at extending the festival experience outside the venue and into community spaces.
Garena is also running an in-game COD Points giveaway from March 30 to May 10, where Filipino players can log in and complete missions to earn rewards.
Players may visit the official Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena channels for full mechanics and tournament details, as well as updates on activities for the coming Summer Festival.
