BACOLOD CITY – A 19-year-old suspected drug pusher was nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Purok Maabi-abihon, Barangay 35, this city, on Friday, June 14.

The Philippine National Police (PNP)-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG)-Special Operations Unit (SOU)-6 (Western Visayas) seized 150 grams of suspected shabu worth P1, 020,000 from the suspect.
Police said the suspect’s friend, who was previously arrested for a drug offense, escaped.
The PDEG said that that the fleeing suspect might have motivated the arrested suspect to engage in peddling drugs.
Police said the arrested suspect was a newly-identified individual.
