While the Marcos family had a historic day last June 30 at the National Museum of Fine Arts, SAGIP Party-list Rep. Rodante Marcoleta and his wife, Edna, had quite a sweet one at the same venue.

This, after Marcoleta took his wife with him to personally witness President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos’s inauguration at the century-old museum in Ermita, Manila.
Marcoleta took to his Facebook to upload photos of him and his better half during the big event.
In one of the snapshots, the couple was seen posing in front of The Spoliarium, which is arguably the most famous work of Filipino painter Juan Luna. The 19th century painting is housed inside the National Museum.

On June 30, Marcos took his oath as the 17th president of the Republic of the Philippines.
Marcos led the UniTeam ticket during election season earlier this year. Marcoleta campaigned for a Senate seat but backed out just weeks before the May 9 polls.
Last month–even as pundits expected him to get a Cabinet appointment–Marcoleta was sworn in as SAGIP Party-List representative in the upcoming 19th Congress.
