MB Daily News Update: Inflation quickens to 4 percent in March

Due mainly to the skyrocketing costs of fuel, consumer prices quickened at a much faster pace in March, up from the three percent in February, but still slower compared to the 4.1 percent in March 2021.

The Department of Health (DOH) reported that 66.2 million individuals have already been fully vaccinated against the Covid-19, but only 12.2 million have gotten their booster shots.

Operations at the country’s trial courts have also returned to normal with all salas already reported to be fully operational.

And an update on the balmy, rainy weather in Metro Manila. This was due to the northeasterly surface wind flow, which will be prevalent for the next 24 hours in the metropolis and some parts of Luzon.

These are among the top stories this Tuesday afternoon, April 5, 2022.
