Presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s woes at the Supreme Court (SC) was compounded by yet another petition asking the High Court to issue a temporary restraining order (TRO) on the canvassing of his votes.
This, even as his choice to lead the newly created department for migrant workers Susan “Toots” Ople confirmed the offer for a post in the Marcos Jr. Cabinet, and said that she was in the process of discernment and consultation on whether to accept the offer or not.
And with the recent spate of rainy afternoons and evenings, the state weather agency announced the onset of the rainy season.
The Department of Health (DOH) has given the go-signal for the inoculation of the elderly and health workers with second booster shots.
These are among the top stories this Wednesday afternoon, May 18, 2022.
