miHoyo partners with Razer for Genshin Impact-inspired merchandise
MANILA, Philippines – Experience travelling around Teyvat in style as miHoyo partners with gaming brand Razer for Genshin Impact-inspired merchandise.
First to be released are three Paimon-themed products. Paimon is the players' constant companion throughout the game, guiding pliers throughout the world, as well providing a few laughs.
Razer has immortalized Paimon on its following products: the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro gaming mouse, the Razer Iskur X ergonomic gaming chair, and the Razer Goliathus Speed gaming mouse mat.
All items also include bonus in-game rewards which players can redeem via a gift code.
“The beautiful world of Genshin Impact has encapsulated many fans globally and the opportunities are boundless,” said Justin Cooney, Director for Global Partnerships at Razer. “Through this partnership, Razer will provide our expertise in deepening the gamer’s immersive experience through our award-winning hardware, software, and services, and bring the adventure to life.”
Besides the Paimon inspired merchandise, Razer has included Genshin Impact designs as part of their Razer Customs service and a custom-tuned profile through the THX Spatial Audio app where players can maximize the great soundtrack of the game through advanced 7.1 surround sound with pinpoint positional accuracy.
The partnership comes ahead of the game's awaited 2.2 updates that will see another expansion to recently added territory, Inazuma. With a new island, comes new monsters to face as the update introduces Rifthounds and the Rifthound Whelps, elemental beasts that deal serious damage.
But fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new playable character, Thoma. Introduced alongside new territory Inazuma, Thoma, the Chief Retainer of the Kamisato Clan, is a polearm-wielding pyro character and was quickly a fan favorite from his first appearance in the game. He is voiced by Filipino American actor Christian Banas.
The 2.2 version update of Genshin Impact is set to release on October 13. The Razer-inspired Genshin merchandise is now currently available for pre-order via the Razer website.
