Moonlight Gala welcomes 600 guests to the McMichael Canadian Art Collection

On May 30, more than 600 guests gathered at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg for the sold-out Moonlight Gala, the gallery’s annual fundraiser. Co-chaired by Debra Fenwick and Laura Mirabella, the evening featured gourmet food stations, wines by Stratus Vineyards, private exhibition tours and live entertainment. Guests heard from Sarah Milroy, McMichael executive director and chief curator, among others. Proceeds from the event support the McMichael’s exhibitions, education and outreach initiatives, as well as the stewardship of its grounds and trails along the Humber River Valley.
