All aboard the Freedom Bus! This October, GoTyme Bank took “bank anywhere” to a whole new level with its new initiative.

The GoTyme Bank Freedom Bus helped commuters move freely with free morning and afternoon rides last October 22 and 24 along the Robinsons Antipolo to One Ayala route during rush hours. Select commuters who signed up – non-GoTyme Bank users included – were welcomed on board.

Free to move on the road

Passengers enjoyed ambient music, subtle, sophisticated scents, and a session with a relaxation guru to melt their stress away. To bring the feeling of freedom home, passengers also got a complimentary Freedom Bus Calm Kit, which included a hand sanitizer, menthol nasal inhaler, mini massager, water bottle, eye mask, and a Move Free relaxation guide.

Adding to the good vibes, celebrity guest Carla Abellana joined GoTyme Bank president and CEO Nate Clarke on a ride with commuters on the first day of the initiative. On the second day, commuters were greeted by Lance Y. Gokongwei, head of the Gokongwei Group and president & CEO of JG Summit Holdings.

Both Clarke and Gokongwei surprised passengers by handing out special tickets for another free ride, courtesy of GoTyme Bank.

“This is our small way of helping make things a little easier for you. You don’t need to have a GoTyme Bank account nor are there any conditions for you to enjoy your ride. All we want is for you to have a first-hand feel of how we make banking beautiful for our customers,” said Gokongwei.

20 free transfers monthly, forever

The Freedom Bus helped introduce Filipinos to GoTyme Bank’s new permanent offering – 20 free Instapay transfers monthly, which are replenished on the first day of each month.

“Transfer fees are like rush hour traffic – unnecessary delays on your journey to financial freedom. Because every peso counts, we’re proud to offer 20 free InstaPay transfers every month to any bank, permanently,” said Clarke.

This is the bank’s new normal for its users, offering them smoother, more cost-effective ways to move their money.

On the Freedom Bus, Filipinos got to experience the freedom to move both in banking and on the road. Now, the bus trips may have ended, but the 20 free monthly transfers are here to stay – forever.

With its efforts to make banking more inclusive and beautiful, GoTyme Bank is making good on its promise to be the bank that 7.8 million users and counting can bank on.
