OG brings Filipinos to the ‘DOTA 2’ spotlight at PGL Wallachia 6, upsets top teams
A new, all-Filipino roster debuts at PGL Wallachia 6, one of the annual tournaments that help dictate The International seeding

MANILA, Philippines – Many Filipinos fondly remember OG as the winners of DOTA 2’s 2016 Manila Majors and the back to back champions of The International 2018 and 2019, which earned them a total prize of $25,854,339.

Few could have predicted that OG would play with an all-Filipino lineup in 2025. The new roster was released just in time to debut at PGL Wallachia 6, one of the annual Majors (tournaments) that dictate starting seeds in The International.

Here’s OG’s new lineup, announced on November 9.

Cores:

  • John Anthony “Natsumi” Vargas as carry
  • Erin Jasper “Yopaj-” Ferrer in mid
  • Nikko “Nikko” Bilocura as offlane

Supports:

  • Rolen Andrei Gabriel “skem” Ong as hard support
  • Timothy “TIMS” Randup as soft support

Despite not receiving a direct invite to PGL Wallachia, with OG starting at 14th seed and analysts favoring Paravision’s drafts and Tundra as a team before the first games of the series, the all-Filipino team beat top teams Paravision and Tundra and are currently sitting at two wins and no losses.

Just as OG and Liquid faced off in the Manila Majors 2016 championship match, OG and Liquid will play again at November 18, 1:00 am on a PGL livestream. – Rappler.com
