MANILA – The Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Tuesday reported that a total of 615 railway workers have recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) since mass testing in the sector began earlier this month.

As of Monday, 6,161 train workers have so far been tested for Covid-19, or 74.89 percent of the combined 8,277 train workers of the four rail services.

In LRT-1, 1,183 out of its 1,185 workers have been tested, with 31 active cases and 162 recoveries.

In LRT-2, 1,1,938 out of its 1,979 workers have been tested, with 159 active infections and 178 recoveries.
