League commissioner Willie Marcial slapped a total fine of P150,000 on NorthPort's Kent Salado and Blackwater's Ato Ular and Rey Suerte on Tuesday, adding to the growing list of pro players, who engaged in unsanctioned PBA games.

Each player was assessed a P50,000 penalty for playing in an invitational tournament in Davao City, recently without getting their respective mother team's permission.

The report was first posted at the PBA's official website.

Marcial met the three PBA players at his office in Libis, Quezon City, before handing out the fines.

Just last week, Marcial cracked the whip by handing out a total of P595,000 in fines to 10 players, led by Magnolia guard Jio Jalalon (P100,000) and big men Beau Belga of Rain or Shine (P70,000) as well as JR Quinahan of NLEX (P70,000).

Over the weekend, NLEX parted ways with Quinahan by terminating the veteran big man's contract that originally runs till December 31, 2023, after concluding its internal investigation. The Cebuano is now a free agent.

Marcial also warned the three that a repeat of the same offense could lead to harsher penalties in the future.
