PCG personnel returns wallet with P185K

A Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) personnel returned a wallet with P185,000 cash he found while attending to his duties at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Based on the report of PCG, Seaman Second Class (SN2) Ramir Greg Locsin discovered the wallet and cellular phone on Wednesday.

The owner of the money, Joliza Wanason, is an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) from Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Wanason thanked Locsin after returning her wallet.

Meanwhile, Commander Jimmy Oliver Vingno of the PCG Task Force Unit Airport One-Stop Shop (OSS) assigned at the NAIA Terminal 1, commended Locsin for his honesty and integrity.

“Locsin’s dedication to his tasks, professionalism, devotion, and integrity to public service significantly contributed to the pride of this unit and the whole Philippine Coast Guard organization,” Vingno said.
