ILOILO CITY—Police seized suspected shabu valued at more than P45.1 million in the first three months of this year in this city.

The Iloilo City Police Office said that 6.6 kilos of shabu were recovered and 218 drug suspects, including two minors, were nabbed in 169 anti-drug operations from Jan. 1 to March 31.
The City Drug Enforcement Unit led by Police Capt. Ryan Christ Inot confiscated shabu worth P17.9 million, followed by Police Station 9 with P5.5 million, Police Station 4, P4.9 million, and Station 10, P4.6 million.
ICPO chief Police Col. Kim Legada said that anti-drug operations remain a priority.
“The police in Iloilo City will continue and intensify its operations to suppress, limit, and ultimately eradicate illegal drug activities,” said Legada.
