Pop-up no more, VIVAIA sets up permanent shop in Mandaluyong City
The viral US shoe brand has set 'foot' for good in SM Megamall!

MANILA, Philippines – Pop-ups come and go, but VIVAIA is finally here to stay.

America’s viral shoe brand finds its first physical home in Metro Manila, officially setting foot on the third level of SM Megamall Building B, Mandaluyong City, this May.

From its first pop-up in January at Power Plant Mall to its next location in Shangri-La Plaza, VIVAIA is no longer a small mall kiosk with limited options — this new branch is its own aesthetic being.

The 92-square-meter space is a minimalist haven of light: bright wood, raw cement finishes, warm lighting, lengthwise mirrors for OOTD checks, couches for a shopping breather, and shelves upon shelves of VIVAIA’s comfortable and eco-friendly footwear and bags.

Compared to its pop-ups, more collections and colorways are available here — from new styles like the trendy Cristina Ballet Sneaker Flats in white or baby pink, to the round-toe Nelly Mary-Jane Flats.

The VIVAIA Conscious Comfort Wall by the entrance gives first-time visitors a peek into what makes the brand both sustainable and wearable — each pair of VIVAIA shoes is made using around six recycled plastic bottles.

The plastic is cleaned, chipped into flakes, spun into thread, and then knitted into the upper material. The brand works with certified REPREVE® suppliers and uses knit-to-shape technology that cuts production waste by over 30% compared to traditional shoe-making methods.

VIVAIA’s padded insoles are refined after every season based on customer feedback, making sure they feel like customers are “walking on clouds,” and many designs are “wide-foot friendly” — a thoughtful plus for Filipinas who’ve often had to size up for comfort. Most shoes are machine washable, while others just need a quick wipe with the brand’s cleaning kit, making them easy to maintain in the country’s tropical, urban setting.

Since launching in the US in 2020, the celebrity-favored brand has expanded to over 61 countries. With its first permanent store in Metro Manila, VIVAIA is set to step into more locations across the country this year. – Rappler.com

VIVAIA SM Megamall is located on Level 3, SM Megamall Building B, Mandaluyong City. It is open daily from 10 am to 10 pm.
