PRO-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo assured the public of the police’s full commitment to ensuring orderly, honest, and peaceful elections across Central Luzon.

“We are closely coordinating with the Comelec (Commission on Elections), AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines), and other government agencies to guarantee the safety of the public on election day. The peace of the elections is the peace of the people,” she said.

As part of the full alert status from May 3 to 15, additional police personnel have been deployed to election areas of concern and polling centers in the provinces of Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, and Pampanga.

She said Quick Reaction Forces and Reactionary Standby Support Forces have also been activated to promptly respond to any incidents of violence or disruption.

Fajardo said its operations centers and intelligence units are conducting 24/7 monitoring to detect and prevent any potential security threats.

She called on the public to cooperate with authorities, refrain from spreading disinformation, and immediately report any suspicious activities that could disrupt the electoral process.

“Elections are not just the government’s responsibility. They are a shared duty of every Filipino citizen. Let us work together to protect our democracy,” Fajardo said.

Police stations across barangays have also been placed on alert to receive reports and ensure strict enforcement of laws throughout the election period.
