PVL: Tubino signs with Strong Group Athletics

MANILA, Philippines — Battle-scarred Royce Tubino joined Strong Group Athletics on Friday after leaving Choco Mucho.

“Sweet signing,” said the franchise on its social media account.

It is not yet known, however, where between SGA-owned franchises in the Farm Fresh Foxies or the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles is bringing Tubino’s talent to.

But it’s a certainty that she would make an instant impact wherever she lands because of her vast experience.

“The veteran brings leadership and experience to power our young squad,” it added.

SGA will be the 32-year-old Tubino’s eighth team in 14 years after playing for Cagayan Valley, Cignal, Army, United Volleyball Club, Sta. Lucia and PLDT.
