RRLS Memorial golf tourney back for second edition

MANILA, Philippines — The much-anticipated 2nd RRLS Memorial Golf Tournament returns on May 29 at the Forest Hills Golf and Country Club, bringing together golf enthusiasts, business leaders, partners and supporters for a day of sportsmanship, fellowship and remembrance.

Following the success of its inaugural tournament in 2025, this year’s edition continues to grow in both scale and significance. Organized in honor of Ronald and Rowrence Lim Sy, the tournament serves as a tribute to the values both men were known for — friendship, leadership, generosity, and camaraderie.

According to the organizers, the overwhelming support from participants and sponsors during the first tournament inspired them to continue the event as an annual tradition that celebrates not only golf, but also meaningful human connections and lasting legacy.

“This tournament goes beyond competition,” organizers shared. “It is about honoring the lives of Ronald and Rowrence and bringing people together through shared memories, unity, and sportsmanship.”

This year’s tournament reflects significant growth, with participation increasing nearly threefold from last year’s turnout. Adding a meaningful social component to this year’s event is its partnership with SOS Children’s Villages, the official beneficiary of the tournament. During the event, the organization will showcase handmade artworks created by children under their care while promoting their advocacy programs and initiatives.
