On Feb. 9, 2,100 guests came out to the Liberty Grand to support Motionball, the fundraising organization for the Special Olympics. The sold-out 22nd annual Toronto Motionball Gala, which featured 40 Special Olympics athletes, as well as celebrity guests including Tessa Virtue, Bianca Andreescu, Sid Seixeiro and Meredith Shaw, netted $275,000 for the Special Olympics Canada Foundation. Hosted by Devo Brown of “Breakfast Television,” the evening featured music by Dwayne Gretzky, DJ Clymaxxx, DJ BxB, as well as drag performances by Lucy Flawless and the Virgo Queen.
