This book serves as the second part of his first biographical book, “The Art of It All,” which focused on his life principles, values, and paid tribute to his family. “The Art of Living” now primarily focuses on his work during his tenure as Secretary of Transportation in the previous administration. Notably, the book highlights the unique and extraordinary challenges faced by his department during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Today, we are all gathered here as friends. We are zeroing in on an advocacy, journeying with a vision of leadership, and service to our people,” said Tugade during his speech. “This book includes a summation of my performance in DOTr (Department of Transportation), especially during the time of the pandemic. The book also includes anecdotes from my friends, golfing mates, and classmates. They are all there.”
