MANILA, Philippines — The Pink Argonauts will stage their 3rd Golf Dive Tournament 2026 on March 13, at Canlubang Golf & Country Club, bringing together sport, advocacy and community impact in support of marine conservation and sustainable tourism in the Philippines.
Founded by women leaders with a shared passion for ocean protection, The Pink Argonauts is a purpose-driven organization committed to safeguarding Philippine waters while empowering coastal communities. Through charity golf tournaments, underwater photography competitions, and conservation-led initiatives, the group raises funds that directly support ocean education, environmental stewardship, and livelihood development. Their work highlights how tourism and recreation can be harnessed as powerful tools for environmental responsibility.
The 2026 tournament is made possible through the collaboration of partners who share the organization’s vision of responsible tourism and marine protection. Sponsors include the Department of Tourism, Aiyanar Beach and Dive Resort, Batangas Scuba Academy, Pacifica Dive, PADI, Armscor Global Defense Inc, Bank of Singapore, and Scubapro. Their support strengthens initiatives that promote professional dive training, environmental awareness, and long-term community resilience.
Proceeds from the tournament will fund the certification of aspiring local Dive Masters and Dive Guides in Anilao, Mabini, Batangas. By investing in internationally recognized training and skills development, The Pink Argonauts aim to reinforce responsible diving practices while enhancing community-based marine tourism in one of the country’s most established dive destinations.
The March 13 tournament will follow the System 36 format, with registration beginning at 5:30 a.m., ceremonial tee-off at 6:30 a.m. and tee time at 7:30 a.m. The P6,000 golf fee — covering green fees, shared cart, lunch, raffle participation, and giveaways — ensures participants contribute directly to the cause.
The golf event is part of the broader GolfDive 2026, running from March 12-15 in Anilao, which also features an Underwater Photo Competition and a Clean-Up Fun Dive. Through GolfDive 2026, The Pink Argonauts continues to demonstrate how sport, tourism and advocacy can come together to protect marine ecosystems while creating meaningful opportunities for local communities.
