Canadian couple Natasha Savignano and Tristan Flear-Hilts danced with Paul McCartney at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour show in London on Sunday after his daughter Mary McCartney admired their outfits with the Canadian flag on them.

Toronto couple Natasha Savignano and Tristan Flear-Hilts have been to 16 shows of Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour so far, but the London show on Sunday will be one for the history books.

During the “folklore” segment of the show, as Savignano, Flear-Hilts and some of their American friends listened to Swift perform “betty,” a woman they didn’t know admired their outfits and filmed them dancing. As she walked away, they realized she had a bracelet with access to the VIP tent.

The woman? Beatle Paul McCartney’s daughter, Mary.

Later that night, Mary and McCartney left the tent to go into the pit and when Mary saw Savignano, Flear-Hilts and their friends, she immediately took her father to see them as well.

“I guess she was really impressed with us or something because she was very excited to show him our shirts and our vibe,” Savignano said. “Then (McCartney) just stopped. He was loving our energy and he started dancing with us. We could not believe it.”

McCartney and his daughter were seen shaking a leg with fans to Swift’s performance of “But Daddy I Love Him” from her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”

“It was literally crazy,” Flear-Hilts said. “That is a Beatle dancing with us.”

At Swift’s concerts, many fans choose to wear outfits referencing her lyrics.

Savignano and Flear-Hilts wore red skirts with white T-shirts with ironed-on Canadian flags and little red crowns. They called themselves “Miss Canadiana and the Heartbreak Prince” playing on Swift’s “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince” from her 2019 album “Lover.”

“We were going with one of our friends and he really loves the song ‘Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince’ so we thought it would be a fun spin on it,” Savignano said. “Because it didn’t feel right to dress up as Miss Americana.”

Speaking of the Beatles, Savignano said, “You can’t deny the impact they have had on music,” sharing that she has a tattoo referencing their song “Here Comes the Sun.”

Swift has played a major role in both Savignano and Flear-Hilts’ lives. They have both been fans of hers since they were children. They met and became friends at Toronto Metropolitan University because of their shared love for Swift and her music, and later started dating.

They were both invited to a meet and greet during Swift’s Reputation Tour and again met Swift when she came for the Toronto International Film Festival in 2022.

Sunday’s show featured an appearance by Gracie Abrams, whom Swift brought onstage to perform her new song “us,” on which Swift is featured.

It was also the first onstage appearance of Swift’s boyfriend, NFL player Travis Kelce, who showed up during her outfit change before she performed “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

Swift will finish up the European leg of her tour in August and will be head to Canada in the fall for six shows in Toronto in November and three in Vancouver in December.
