An airport worker was killed on the job this week after being struck by a passenger jet.
The incident took place at YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport in Quebec, Canada, Monday, airport officials said.
The incident involved an Airbus A350 operated by French Bee, a low-cost airline, according to the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB).
ADM said it worked with its partners to provide assistance and support to employees and passengers “who witnessed this tragic accident.”
ADM is also “cooperating with the authorities responsible for the investigation since the outset of their work,” it said.
The Quebec coroner’s office was also notified of the death and is investigating its causes and circumstances, CityNews reported.

The fatal incident in Montreal comes just months after two other deadly incidents at major North American airports.
Earlier this year, a Delta Air Lines employee was killed on the job after an airport tug vehicle crashed into a jet bridge at Orlando International Airport.
At around the same time, a Frontier Airlines jet struck and killed a person who was walking on a runway at Denver International Airport.
