
MANILA, Philippines — With international glory on its sights, the Victoria Sports Pro Cycling (VSPC) has announced a solid lineup for 2026, with a goal to “conquer the world’s harshest terrains and grueling mountains in their upcoming races”.
Fresh off dominating the 2026 PhilCycling National Championships, the VSPC assembled a roster of riders with a “blend of seasoned champions and explosive young talent,” made up of homegrown and international riders.
The roster is made up of Ismael Grospe Jr., Edson Corbadora, Pako Ochoa, Daniel Ven Cariño, Ean Cajucom, Mark Alex Barluelo, Jude Francisco, Darius John Villaseñor, Alexis Pagara, Nichol Pareja, Marcelo Felipe and Rush Camingao.
In the 2026 PhilCycling championships, Francisco emerged as Under-23 Criterium Champion and bagged second place in the Under-23 Individual Time Trial.
Corbadora finished second in the Elite Criterium, while Baruelo claimed the championship at the Under-23 Road Race category and posted a third-place finish in the Under 23 Criterium.
Pareja secured third place in the Elite Individual Time Trial, while Grospe bagged the silver medal in the Elite Road Race.
VSPC founder Pako Ochoa, for his part, emphasized the team’s international presence as “both a privilege and a duty to showcase Filipino excellence to the world.”
“In our four years, we've covered roughly 40,000km across over 250 race days in more than 20 countries. From multiple national titles to major wins in Oman, Japan, Indonesia, and China, VSPC has competed with top teams,” he said.
“What defines this team is the shared drive to represent the Filipino spirit at the highest level of the sport.”
Ochoa also stressed that they are aiming to “pedal to greater heights, sprinting to plant the Philippine flag on the global professional cycling stage.”
